It was in 2004 that we, Lydia en Fred Schimmel,
enthusiastically
began to make our dream come true, we wanted to live in one of the many
beautiful regions of France, The Aquitaine. By then we lived in a Dutch village on the banks of the river 'Maas'. With that idyllic picture in our heads, the search started. In 2007 we found a building plot in Loubès Bernac, 'Lieu-dit LaBelle', at 22 kms south-west of Bergerac. The perfect place to build our own little paradise ..... our dog Yogi  ©copyright 2012 - all rights reserved |  In March 2008 we rented a house in a nearby village. Thus, we could gain a lot of experience, get to know/attend French life and explore the surrounding area. Watching the building activities at LaBelle was exciting, surprising, often valuable and never boring ! As from June 2009 you are welcome in one of our gîtes. |
